Floor Screeding is run by Bartlomiej Standa, a sole trader trading as Elevate Ireland. He writes and checks the pages. Contact: hello@floorscreeding.ie.

How we check a figure

• We read it at its source and record the date we read it. Every figure on this site was checked on 29 October 2026.
• Technical figures (depths, drying, bays, heat-up) come from the manufacturer's own data sheet or from the standards as published by a trade body, and we say whose figure it is. Where makers' figures differ, we show both.
• Prices are Irish merchants' published prices, in euro, with VAT status as shown. Where VAT isn't stated, we say so. We never add VAT ourselves.
• UK prices are never converted and shown as Irish.
• Arithmetic of our own, such as volumes, weights or days from a maker's rule, is labelled as ours.
• We don't estimate installed screeding prices. None of the Irish contractors we checked publishes one, so none is shown.

What we never publish

Reviews, ratings, customer counts, accreditations or response-time promises. Photos of jobs that aren't ours. Prices we haven't confirmed.

How often

Prices are re-checked at least once a month, and technical figures whenever a maker updates a data sheet. The current check was done on 29 October 2026.

If a figure is wrong or out of date, email hello@floorscreeding.ie with the page and the source. We check it at the source, correct the page and update the date.
